New Face on Board at SMB; Greg Bunner and Mike Hargadon Named Tax Managers
Smith Miller & Buff, CPA, PA is pleased to announce Greg Bunner and Mike Hargadon as Tax Managers.
Both Greg and Mike have unique areas of focus and bring specialized skills to our team.
Greg Bunner, CPA, originally joined the firm in 2017. After a brief time in the private sector, he returned in May as a Tax Manager. Greg has experience in a variety of accounting, tax and transaction services to individuals and businesses, including experience as the corporate controller for a large US craft brewery. Greg graduated magna cum laude from Western Carolina University with degrees in accounting and finance. He continued his education at Western Carolina’s Masters of Accountancy program where he finished at the top of his graduating class earning the Outstanding MAcc student award.
Mike Hargadon, CPA, joined SMB in 2014 and transitioned into the Tax Manager role this summer. He has more than 30 years of experience in the accounting profession and has worked in both the private and public sectors. He is experienced with closely held businesses, individuals, and union benefit plans. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Glassboro State College in 1983 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
